Zeborah

Not much to say today, but a fun outfit anyhow!  The one thing I will say, however, is that this would be supercute paired with a black pencil skirt for a Casual Friday outfit!

Never to Forget…

The Day After…

The day after 9/11/01, we all were forever changed.  Waiting to exhale.  Innocence stolen.  Some details clearly remembered.  Other details newly revealed, that had passed by, previously unknown.  New stories, forever emerging.  The cries of birth, grief and pain of those struggling to survive.  The sigh of death.  Mourning.  Terror.  Hurt.  Fear.  Sacred treasures of family and friends lost.  Loved ones.  Never again to be seen, recovered or heard from again.   Never ending discoveries in layer upon layer.  Heroes, heroines born of compassion, bringing blessing out of tragedy.  Shared by generations to come.  Life, beautiful and rare.  The value of love and faith, earned in hardship and trial.  The new patina of life.  Tarnished and tempered by unfathomable loss.   Loved ones too quickly gone.  Having let their courage, honor, wisdom and love, pass through their fingers.  Ultimately, to be showered on to others, for however long they had in this life.   Resting now eternally in glory.  The fragility and magnificence of life.  Those left behind, longing to experience the touch and moments, clearly remembered, of those who have gone before.  Another layer.  Another discovery.  More heroes, heroines born of compassion.  The future bringing God’s blessings out of tragedy, once again.  The attempt to cleanse ourselves of hurt and loss.   To begin the healing of our hearts and lives, through our tears.  Receiving, for ourselves, God’s comfort and grace.  Ultimately, to pass through our fingers, showering others, for however long we have in this life.  We will continue.  We have made our choice.

Summer to Fall

Shoes/Necklace:Talbots
T-Shirt:Target
Denim Shorts:Lee Rider:Wal-Mart
Tote Bag:Vera Bradley

How do you transition your Summer wardrobe into the Fall?  I just use my Summer items, only in Fall colors.  That makes it easy for me and I don’t have to shelp my Fall wardrobe boxes out until, ummm, the Fall!

“From now on if you listen obediently to the commandments that I am commanding you today, love GOD, your God, and serve him with everything you have within you, he’ll take charge of sending the rain at the right time, both autumn and spring rains, so that you’ll be able to harvest your grain, your grapes, your olives. He’ll make sure there’s plenty of grass for your animals. You’ll have plenty to eat.”
