What ever is lovely.
What ever is pure.
This week I’m going to focus on, what I feel is, true and authentic beauty. It’s more than your physical appearance, or cute outfit!!! True beauty radiates from the inside out. Let’s start with your heart and mind. How can you beautify your heart? Here’s some suggestions:
*Focus on God’s word. Let it take root in your mind, heart and life.
*Refuse to conform to the culture. Be who God made you to be.
*There will always be negative around you. Choose to focus on and count your blessings.
*Speak truth to yourself and others.
*Know that you do not need to be controlled by your emotions and feelings.
*Look for opportunity to express love, kindness, gratitude-to God, others and yourself.
*Don’t let trash live in your mind or your heart. It will contaminate you!!!
*Choose to be optimistic.
*Have a simple faith.
*Stick to the basics, life is already complicated enough.
*Listen more. Talk less.
*Refuse to be offended.
*Do one thing at a time.
*Pray. All day. Simple conversations with God. He’s waiting to hear from you!
This list just scratches the surface. I could continue all day. By no means have I, or will I, personally achieve all these things, but I’m not gonna stop striving. However, I am not perfect, nor pretend to be. I am admittedly weak, but gather strength for today from God’s word and the people who are sent my way. Perfectly imperfect. That’s me!
