Product Review

We haven’t had a product review in awhile, so today’s the day! It’s my birthday, so this is what we’re gonna do to celebrate! So. Let’s get this party started! Woot!
Pajama Jeans: LUV them!!! So comfy! Frankly, I was surprised to like them as much as I did. I’m a die hard jeans wearer, so I was ready not to be swayed! One thing that some of you may not like is that they pull on, with a tie at the waist and I’m not sure how they would look, if you tuck your shirt in. They are really, really comfy though, so that kinda won me over at first wear. The inside of them feels like a really soft blanket against your skin. They don’t stretch out as you wear them, like regular jeans. Nicer looking than sweats. Also they are available in a boot cut style and a skinny style. They come in dark wash. All sizes come with a 31″ inseam. I bought mine (they only had boot cut) at Bed Bath and Beyond with a 20% off coupon. So they ended up being around $31. When I get another coupon, I’m thinking I might just buy another pair. I am all about comfort!
Heel Tastic: Really works! Smooth it on directly from the container (kinda like chap-stick), no rubbing required and any dry skin disappears before your eyes! Smells nice. It’s oily after application, but I put it on, then wear my slipper socks after application. Before bed, when the socks come off you have really soft skin! This was also purchased at Bed Bath and Beyond with a 20% off coupon, so the price after the discount was about $8.
Dr. Feelgood: Whether I wear make up or not, I ALWAYS wear this! I have really, really oily skin and makeup just disappears after a few hours. This makes it stay put! You can apply it before or after your makeup. It’s a matte finish that makes your skin really smooth and flawless. The fact my face isn’t an oil slick by the end of the day makes me happy. Purchased at Sephora for $29. WORTH every penny! Buy two, one for your makeup bag at your vanity and one for your purse! It lasts a long time.
Oil of Olay Total Effects 7-in-1 Anti-Aging Eye Cream: I gave up concealer for this! Just a quick swipe, I don’t even pat it in or anything, with a bit of lipstick and I’m ready to go. My makeup routine isn’t very involved at all. I don’t wear a lot. Mascara, eye shadow and powdered blush, more rarely than occasionally. I don’t leave the house with out this Oil of Olay Total Effects, Dr. Feelgood and lipstick (don’t like lip gloss much–makes me feel like I’ve been eatin’ pork chops!). Walmart with a $5 off coupon ends up being around $5.
Kymaro Body Shaper: When I wear sweaters or t-shirts I do not like any lines from foundational clothes showing AT ALL!!! I’m really obsessive about this! I don’t like any kind of lumps, lines, bulges or bumps from straps or hooks or any of that. So, this gives you a smooth look without discomfort. The package claims that you’ll look 10-20 pounds thinner, but that’s not why I like body briefers, I like that they leave you looking seamless and smooth. One thing I have noticed that after numerous washings is that they do stretch. Usually, I buy them a size larger, because I don’t like any thing tight fitting! And I’m more concerned about being smoother than thinner. They are sold at Bath and Body Works and with a 20% off coupon end up being $23.
Fruit of the Earth Vitamin E Skin Care Cream: Cold weather’s coming and this cream is heavier than the regular bottled variety. It smells similar to Shalimar Perfumes/Lotions and I luv that. Apply it right out of the shower, on damp skin and it keeps your skin soft all day long! And the price is so incredibly reasonable! Only about $5 for two four ounce jars at Walmart!
Genie Bra: All I’m going to say is that it’s in the bag with the receipt, in the car, waiting to be returned. Did not like it. At. ALL! $19.99 for two! Not worth it to me!!!
Hope you liked the reviews! Be comfortable with who you are and that’s the most important product that you can wear! Not only that, but you can wear it anywhere! Have a wonderful day!

Another GREAT shaper that I’ve found is made by “Flexeez” (I think that’s how they spell it). I’ve bought them at Stein Mart and at Kohl’s. You can wear your own bra and they have three little hooks-and-eyes at the crotch. It REALLY does make you look slimmer and it doesn’t roll up like my Kymaro Body Shaper did. They are about $38 when you get them on sale. I’ve got two in black and two in natural. I wear them every day and they are a lot more comfortable than the Spanx I had been wearing and they give you more control too.
Hey Cindy! Thanks for the suggestion! There are so many out there, I’m so glad you told us about this option too! Gotta luv those 30% off Kohl’s coupons!
