Luv those little surprise blessings in life! A few months back, I was at one of my frequented places, Goodwill. Shopping second-hand, you sometimes find something, most times, you won’t. This was one of those times I did! I found this long leopard skirt and bought it with the intention of shortening it. After I got it home and washed it, I hung it in my closet and forgot about it. That is, until the next Talbots catalog arrived! Imagine my pleasant surprise when I opened it and saw a gorgeous (of course, it’s Talbots, after all, hello!) skirt really similar to the one I scored at Goodwill hanging, forgotten in my closet! While mine isn’t gilded and silk, but made of heavier fabric-perfect for cold nights, it still serves my purpose just fine. AND the skirt I bought, didn’t give me major cash cramps!!! Not to mention, I wouldn’t have been able to afford (without feeling really guilty) to pay the Talbots price for their beautiful skirt. Especially since I would wear it only occasionally. Plus, it was the one time, it paid off to stick an item in my closet and forget about it! Glad I didn’t hem it. I always can do that later, if I decide too, but for now I’ll rock it long! I would also wear this with a black wool turtle neck sweater and a denim jacket, if it weren’t too cold and the gathering more casual. My black blingy ballet flats. A denim or white button down shirt, with a wide belt, would also be super cute! Oh! Or how about a red turtle neck? HOT Pink! Yep! I think that would be awesome too! How about a leather jacket? OHHHH yea! I could do this all day! Everyday! AND I do! For all of you! It wouldn’t be half the fun without you! Sometimes I just think too much!!! But I HAVE to think of five other items, that I have already, this skirt could be worn nicely with! You know my rule! Thanks for reading! Keep you’re eye out for possible dressy outfit pieces now, BEFORE you are at the moment you NEED them! They may show up in unexpected places!
