True leadership takes a huge amount of courage.  Any good leader would tell you,  decisions that leaders make everyday are guaranteed not to make everybody happy.  Leadership and leaders can also be very unpopular sometimes!  They see the whole picture and not just a section of it.  Leaders need to be full of wisdom, and have a confident spirit.  They need to trust in the fact that they have been blessed with qualities, potential and characteristics to make them a phenomenal leader.  Leaders rise to each challenge with strength and determination to take the correct course.  Not everyone was intended to be a leader.  Not everyone wants to lead.  We’ve all been in situations when the leader doesn’t want to lead or is poorly equipped.  The expectations are left unmet and those who are following instructions are frustrated.  We need to be listening and have the wisdom to know when to step up and when not too.  One of the first bosses I ever had, gave me two pieces of great advice.  Number one, you must learn to follow excellently to become, in the future, a great leader.  And, number two, everyone can be replaced.  I hated hearing that and it stung at the time, but those words have proved me well since!  Sometimes words from leaders are hard to take, but we later reap the most benefit if we listen and learn from them!
