.k. So, you had your job interview last week. It went really well! Your phone rings. You get a call from their human resources representative. They’re interested in having you come back and meet your potential boss! You wowed ‘em! You squeal and do the HAPPY DANCE! Then you realize it’s not in your budget to go out and buy ANOTHER new suit to wear and the jammies you have on are out of the question. SOOOO. You run to your computer, click on your bookmarked “favorites list” and you go back to outfit31.com to search for new ideas. Behold! There they are! Just as you expected! Yes!;-) That’s if you’re not already a subscriber! If you are, then you have an e-mail waiting for you at just the right moment, with exactly the inspiration you need! Ideas that don’t require you to go out shopping — since money is an issue — hence the job hunt. Look! Same suit styled differently! This time, instead of a crisp blue french cuff button down (http://outfit31.com/2011/05/job-interview.html), switch it out for a crisp bright white button down. Tie a pretty sash at the waist and pair with either the same pair of black shoes you wore before or different ones. If the shirt isn’t french cuffed, don’t worry about it. Just be sure to roll up the blazer sleeves, to reduce the bulk. Your salary’s goin’ up so pop your collar up too! Re-read the interview tips from our previous post. Take a deep breath! Relax! Be yourself. Smile. Now, go for it!
Don’t forget to send a handwritten thank you note to all your interviewers! Let it speak as your gentle reminder of you and your CRAZY organizational skills, not to mention, your attention to detail! Not only are you saying, “thank you” for their valuable time; they know you’re extremely polite, respectful of authority, sincere, REALLY interested and excited about the potential position. No wonder they want to hire YOU! You would be an asset to any employer!
Afterward, take off your jacket and celebrate with a cool sweet tea, because life is sweet! AND so are you!

But how could you have personality, when you don’t have a name?! I know kinda weird. No! Not the dress form, but the fact, that I want to give it a name! I know! Anyway! Hi Sara! Thanks for the suggestion! Cannot wait to see what Dress-Forms name’s going to be! I think if the name “Sally” is drawn and you win, I would always think of the song, “Mustang Sally.” Woot! What kinda outfit would someone named Mustang Sally wear? Leather you think?

Basic black dress, pearls/diamonds is what I think of when I hear the name, “Jackie.” Tailored simple elegance! Nice suggestion! Hmmm. What WILL her name end up being?
